The UK Kid started training to become a professional wrestler at the age of 16 in Gosport, by Kris Kay. At the age of 18 he moved to San Antonio, Texas where he trained at the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy for three
months and then at Dory Funk's Funking Conservatory.

Following his training UK Kid made his pro wresting debut in the United Kingdom in August 1999. He made his USA debut in San Antonio against Kris Krugar.

He then went on to work for Ultimate Pro Wrestling, Shawn Michael's Texas Wrestling Academy, Big Time Wrestling, Gulf Coast Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and many more, he also made it a priority to return to the UK and when he did he worked for All Star, Premier Promotions (where he was voted best young wrestler two years in a row) and The Wrestling Alliance.

Most recently he has worked for CWC, LDN Wrestling, Premier, All Star, VPW and RQW. The UK Kid is a very versatile worker who can do anything that's asked of him, proof of this is the fact that he was invited to the WWE tryouts in Manchester last year, where he was told by Kurt Angle that he reminded him of Chris Benoit.
