DPW: August 30 Card Update

Posted by Phil Jones

DPW Press Release:

Dynamic Pro Wrestling
Returns August 30th 2008 At the Ackroyd Street Working Mens Club Morley, Leeds.

Dynamic Pro Wrestling can bring news today of the next match announced for August 30th.

After retaining the 3CW Young Lions at our last show by defeating Kev Rocks, Prince Mohmed Ameen has been running his mouth, claiming that after just one mere victory he has done all he needs to prove his worth and can now relax.

Dynamic Pro Wrestling was angry when hearing that and have decided, that he will be given a match that will not only test himself, but also 3 other competitors in DPW. Dynamic Pro Wrestling is going to make not only Prince Mohmed Ameen, but The Wonderkid Jonny Storm, Kris Travis and the debuting Joey Hayes. All 4 guys will face off in a 4-way elimination match. Only the winner of the match will be guaranteed the chance to come back to DPW on the next show in November.

DPW thinks that this match should be a good way for Prince Mohmed Ameen, and the other guys to really prove themselves worthy of being in the DPW ring.

Also on August 30th The Sensational Shawn Scott will face Spitfire Tommy Johnson. Both guys are exciteda t the prospect of facing each other in the ring and this match should have been a fantastic match up. However, it seems that Dragon Aisu and Matt Slater have different ideas. DPW have been contacted and informed that, despite what we may think, this match will be a 3-way.. with Matt Slater making up the 3rd guy. Dragon Aisu seems to think he is above and beyond the rules and is going out of his way to make sure his presence is felt in places he shouldn't be.

Previously Announced:

PRYDE

The controversial tag team have had mixed success so far in DPW, registering a notch in both the win and loss column's. At the last show,
in a re-match with Ultimate Devastation they we're beaten in a NO-DQ match that left a sour taste in the mouth of Sykes. As the winners celebrated Sykes ad Lee Chaos had a disagreement with each in the ring over whose fault it was. This has obviously festered in the mind of Sykes as he contacted us recently and demanded that on August 30th, he gets the chance to teach Chaos a thing or two about respect.

Matt Slater

This cocky, over confident young man seems have sold his soul to the devil. Matt Slater faced Nathan Irwin on our last show, after returning
from a successful tour of America. It as proving to be a good contest until it was interrupted by Dragon Aisu. His beef with Nathan Irwin seemingly not put to bed, it seemed that both Irwin and Slater were going to attempt to take down the Damned Nation member. However, as Irwin charged forward he was attacked from behind by Slater and then set upon again by Aisu before the pair celebrated together.

Joeseph Hayes

Making his début at "Built Up Aggression" on August 30th will be the talented Joey Hayes. One of the UK's top talents will be bringing his game to Morley Leeds to show what he can do. We are sure that this fan favourite and former member of Pain Inc. will quickly be adored and loved by the fans.

Spitfire Tommy Johnson

Making his début on the last show as a pre-show bonus and under a different name, Tommy Johnson impressed despite his loss to Big Dog Rainz.
So much so that he has been invited back by DPW and this time will be looking for a better result.

The Sensational Shawn Scott

Not much is known about this Irish man here in Leeds, however we do know he is Big, Mean and wants to make sure we never forget he was here. Oh.. and he loves himself maybe a little too much!

Nathan Irwin

Despite now twice falling foul of Dragon Aisu, Irwin just keeps coming back. Irwin is hoping for third time lucky as he again tried not mainly to win a match.. but actually finish one. His first match in March never started as he was attacked by Aisu. His second match in June ran to a no-contest as again Aisu and his new lackey Matt Slater attacked him. Nathan Irwin must be praying his luck changes now and on August 30th he can finish a match at DPW.

Home Town Hero Cameron Kraze

Home Town Hero Cameron Kraze returns again for some main event Tag Team action. Having previously dispatching Keith Myatt and then facing Bingo Ballance, he has unfortunately been drawn into the tension surrounding Bingo and El Ligero. Hopefully the up coming tag match will end the madness.

The Mexican Sensation El Ligero

El Ligero also makes his return to team with Cameron Kraze in a match almost guaranteed to blow the roof off the building. El Ligero has been plagued by trouble from Bingo Ballance, interfering in both El Ligero's previous matches. El Ligero looks to use this tag match to gain some retribution.

IwW Zero Gravity Champion Bingo Ballance

Bingo Ballance has been causing El Ligero some strife all year. Beating Bubblegum in the first match this year and then turning his attention on
El Ligero, Bingo Ballance has proved himself to be nothing but a pest. He will be looking for a much desired win over El Ligero in the upcoming tag match.

Mr. Bad Attitude Martin Kirby

Kirby has again managed to get himself in the middle of others affairs. Starting the year with a victory, Kirby made sure he was on the right side of Bingo when he ran in during El Ligero v Kirby at the last show. Kirby clearly has an eye for trouble as he then tried to do the same thing
himself during the main event. This lead to Cameron Kraze and El Ligero issuing the demand for a tag match to right the wrongs.

"The Wonderkid" Jonny Storm

"The Wonderkid" makes his return to Dynamic Pro Wrestling after a strong debut in March, narrowly defeating El Ligero. Both competitors showed their appreciation for each other after the match. Can Jonny Storm back up the win with another great performance in August.

"The Shooting Star" Kris Travis

Kris Travis seems to have gotten himself a cushy position in Dynamic Pro Wrestling, in the pocket of the GM Christopher Brammer. With his sidekick
Rainz at ringside, he managed to gain revenge on G-Man at our last show. He then stood idly by while Rainz viciously attacked both the referee and G-Man, under the orders of Christopher Brammer.

Prince Mohmed Ameen

The Prince has had mixed fortune so far. Featuring in 2 titles matches. Firstly the Manson Weight Belt where he lost to a rampant Mad Man Manson, and secondly the 3CW Young Lions Title, where he was more successful and after challenging Kev Rocks retained the title. Its is rumored that the Prince is angry at how things have gone though in Dynamic Pro Wrestling and he wants things to start going his way.

Dragon Aisu

Dragon Aisu has made an impact at Dynamic Pro Wrestling, and one roster member in particular.. Nathan Irwin. Aisu has made it clear he will do
things how and when he wants and doesn't seem to want to play by anyone else's rules. He has recruited himself Matt Slater to help mold in his own way and made an enemy of Nathan Irwin. What does August bring for the Damned Nation member.

More names will be released next week along with more matches.
